More Than a Shop—We’re a Cycling Community Hub

For over 30 years, we've kept Adams County rolling with passion, expertise, and a deep love for every ride.

ABOUT US

Founded by Passion, Fueled by Community

Gettysburg Bicycle & Fitness began with one goal—to share the joy of riding. Founded in 1991 by Jes Stith, a former competitive racer with a passion for bikes, our shop has grown into a trusted cornerstone of the local cycling community.

We serve riders of all levels with a curated selection of new and used bikes, e-bikes, expert repairs, and fittings, as well as a selection of gear. But we’re more than a bike shop.

We support local races, sponsor youth teams, and host weekly group rides because we believe cycling builds stronger communities. From high school athletes to weekend cruisers, we’re here to keep you rolling—wherever the road or trail leads.

Your Local Crew

Meet the Riders Behind the Wrenches

Our crew isn’t just skilled—they ride, race, and live on bikes. Owner Jes Stith raced competitively for over a decade and founded the Michaux Endurance Series. Cheryl Sorenson is a national ultra-endurance champion. Kent Anderson and Pat Reisinger bring decades of mechanical knowledge and riding experience to every service ticket.

We’re also proud to support the next generation of riders through our involvement with the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA), helping local student athletes grow their skills, confidence, and love for the sport.

Whether you’re here for a tune-up or advice on your next build, you’ll talk to people who speak your language—because they ride just like you. Even Koda and Rue, our shop dogs, are part of the team. When you visit us, you're not just entering a store. You're joining a family of riders who care.
